Andrea Bocelli 'My Christmas' CD Review & Giveaway (Ends 12/17)

The Classical Music singer Andrea Bocelli was someone I never really listened to. It’s not that I don’t think he has an incredible singing voice, but his genre is not one I listen to. Born in Italy, Andrea was a born singer whose natural voice made a local celebrity. He has sold over 60 million albums to date and continues to defy categorization, age barriers and labels. Through his concerts on the opera stage, he has worked with everyone from Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo to Bono!

Well this month, Bocelli has released his first ever Christmas cd which features 14 newly recorded Christmas classics called ‘My Christmas.’ My Christmas has already spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard’s Holiday Albums and Classical Albums charts, and is currently resting at No.2 on the Billboard 200.

I honestly don’t have any Christmas cds, not that I am a scrooge but I am not big into holiday music. ‘My Chirstmas’ though was incredible and I am so happy to have it as my first Christmas cd. The songs were all different and yet traditional, all of course with the Bocelli touch of Italian. I loved Jingle Bells the best as it takes the classic song and makes it more pop-like. His songs definitely bring out emotions and evoke the Christmas spirit!
