Cystex and Dr. Kavaler Review & Book Giveaway (Ends 10/21)

As a woman, we seem to have so many more areas where we can have problems and issues. One of the dreaded problems is a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). Maybe you have had a UTI before or maybe you think you have as there are many myths about Urinary Tract Infection causes, symptoms, and treatment. Well Elizabeth Kavaler, M.D. is one of the 500 female urologists in the United States who specializes in female urinary tract issues. She is also the author of “A Seat on the Aisle, Please! The Essential Guide to Urinary Tract Problems in Women.”

Whether you are a book reader or prefer to watch videos, Dr. Kavaler has you covered. She has also recently produced a series of videos discussing various topics about urinary tract health. Her videos cover Knowing your bladder better, Sex and UTI’s, Cranberries for UTI prevention to Menopause and increased UTI Risk. One statistic I just read that is frightening is that “In the United States alone, urinary tract infections (UTIs) account for more than eight million doctor visits each year and are considered the second most common infection in the body. While anyone at any age can get a urinary tract infection (UTI), women are more prone to them, and of those women who experience a urinary tract infection (UTI), 20 percent will have a second infection and 30 percent will have a third.” (According to the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases)

Dr. Kavaler recommends to see a doctor if you have a UTI and in the meantime to take Cystex, which is the only over-the-counter urinary pain reliever available with a dual-action formula to ease pain and burning and help keep the infection from spreading while you are waiting for your doctor’s appointment.

Whatever your question may be, I highly recommend checking out Dr. Kavaler’s videos, as they are quick but informative. You can even select the video that is relevant to your question. I thought it is great too that if you can't find your question, then you can ask it yourself here!
